This medium round cone shaped covered jar is about 6" wide on bottom and 5" high (7" to top of knob). It is a part of the "lighthouse" series of vases and covered jars. The outside features a textured pattern treated with a rubbed off black stain. There are little colored clay "dots" imserted, casually positioned. The inside and top are glazed in a gloss black glaze. This piece is high fired stoneware. It is one of a kind, although I make this shape and pigment/glaze combination often. Makes a nice jar for potpourri or your precious things.
