This medium height round cone shaped covered jar is about 3-1/2" wide on top, 4-1/2" wide on bottom and 6" high (7" to top of knob on the lid). It is a part of the "lighthouse" series of vases and covered jars. The outside features a textured pattern treated with a rubbed off yellow stain. There are little "windows" cut in the sides, allowing air circulation for garlic, or windows for a little candle light! The inside and top are glazed in a gloss black glaze. This piece is high fired stoneware, food and dishwasher safe. It is one of a kind, although I make this shape and pigment/glaze combination often. Makes a wonderful accent piece.
